It's official! Trump imposes immigrant visa ban on Nigeria

United States President Donald Trump on Friday issued an expanded version of his travel ban on six countries, including Nigeria.

People from Nigeria, Eritrea, Tanzania, Sudan, Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar will be banned from immigrating to the United States without a visa waiver as of Feb. 22, joining currently banned countries Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea and certain government officials from Venezuela.

Coronavirus: Death toll rises to 213 as US confirms first human-to-human transmission

China’s National Health Commission (NHC) said on Friday the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in the country rose to 213 as of end-Thursday, with another 1,982 new cases confirmed.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in China reached 9,692 as of end-Thursday, NHC said in a statement.
